Ellis Island

7th grade students visited Ellis Island as part of their study of the immigration period in the late 19th/ early 20th century. The day long trip to New York was very exciting! Pictured is Miss Wry's homeroom on the island.

Immigration Simulation

7th grade students furthered their understanding of immigrant life in the early 1900s with a simulation of arrival at Ellis Island. Students were assigned roles and boarded the ship bound for America!

Pine Lake CAPTivates Kids
